Proverbs 1:32 "The complacency of fools will destroy them; 33 But whoever listens to Wisdom will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."
Godly wisdom, which comes through the Holy Spirit, will influence every area of your life. You will find peace, prosperity and evil will not come near your dwelling place.
Proverbs 5:21,23 "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, And He ponders all his paths. He shall die for lack of instruction, And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray."
You might be feeling that God has forgotten you or that He is too busy to have time for your problems. The truth is that you are constantly in God’s thoughts and that He has not forgotten about you.
Take time to re-focus and read His word diligently. You will find that He has got all the answers to every challenge you may be facing. You just need to do exactly what He is telling you and not try and follow your own plans. It may seem a little strange but have faith in God and know that He will always lead you to a place of peace and provision.
Psalm 133:1-3 "How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity…for there the Lord has commanded the blessing…"
So many people today desire God’s blessing in their lives, but did you know He commands blessing when we are at peace with the people around us? As believers, we are called to work together in unity so that we can fulfill God’s purposes. We are called to serve one another in love and serve together in the house of the Lord. Is there someone in your life that you don’t quite get along with? The Bible says to pray for that person and go out of your way to be a blessing to them. It isn’t easy, but the reward is eternal. His blessing is everlasting.
Philippians 3:13 “…but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before”
In order to move forward in life, we need to let go of the past. Don’t “rehearse” the hurt or disappointments of the past. Make a decision today to release those things that are holding you back, give them to the Lord, and see His plan your future to unfold!
Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
God knows your end from your beginning. Sometimes we go through life with our head down because we believe we disappointed God. God is not disappointed in you! You see he knows all your short comings, your weaknesses, and your mistakes. We are not perfect and He knows it. He believes in us more than what we believe in ourselves. He sees us as the finished work not as the process and He knows that He can change us if we allow Him and we stay close to Him.
Rom 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Faith begins where the will of God is known. If God already wants to do something, do you think it is difficult to motivate Him to do it? Of course not! God is already motivated to do His will. Find out what He said in His Word, believe it, act on it, and then He will take care of the rest!
Luke 22:20 “Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the New Testament in My Blood, which is shed for you.”
What a comforting revelation it is, that because He paid the ultimate prize, we now live our lives in total victory and are no longer subject to the enemy of our souls.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Did you know that God is a rewarder? All He wants to see is that you desire Him and want to please Him. He is on your side! If you make it your life’s ambition to please the Lord He will give you anything your heart desires!
Joshua 24:15 “......but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
This is a powerful statement, it means my home is sanctified and set apart for God's Glory. What about starting a spiritual housecleaning by praying with your children in their rooms. Remove anything that is not glorifying God, like posters, books, photos, pictures or clothing depicting any kind of blasphemy.
Matt 5:8 "Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous—possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God’s favour and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!"
The heart reflects to the world who we are--the inner character we display outwardly. Our heart sets the course of every day of our lives and it portraits who we really are. We have to guard and protect our heart with all diligence because the issues of life will flow through it not just for us but for the world around us
