Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Sometimes our obvious needs can blind us from the truth. The truth is that Jesus is the source of our provision and everything we need is in His Kingdom. Live life God’s way and seek first His Kingdom. It is much easier to receive from God than it is to strive after things
Romans 8:31,32: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
No matter what you are going through, remember this… We serve Almighty God and He is on our side! He is a GOOD God! When He gave His Son, He gave His very best. Trust Him today because His nature never changes!
Romans 8:5,6: “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according t the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Every day we have a choice to either allow our natural mind to dominate us or to allow our spirit man to dominate us. Making a choice is like “flipping a switch”. Make a choice today… “flip the switch” and set your mind on the things of the Spirit! The Holy Spirit is waiting on YOU to allow Him to be involved in your every day life.
Proverbs 30:4: “Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if you know?”
The average believer has made a casual commitment to God and serves Him only because of what He can do for them. Let us never forget WHO HE IS! He is the Mighty God and deserves reverence and full devotion. It’s time to make the adjustments and serve Him because of Who He is.
Philippians 3:13,14: “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
It’s time for us as believers to stop living in the past. We have one life to live on this planet…Let’s make it count! We need to wake up, get up, and press on toward our destiny in Christ Jesus!
Ephesians 4:19 “having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;”
According to scripture, ignorance IS NOT bliss. Ignorance and spiritual blindness can keep people from the very life of God. We as believers should be growing in our walk with God on a daily basis with our spiritual eyes wide open. Don’t be spiritually ignorant…God wants to show Himself strong on your behalf! Get hungry for Him, let His Word become alive to you, and let Him reveal Himself to you in a deeper more intimate way!
James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…”
If we say we love God, we should never be content with our past experiences no matter how wonderful they may have been. There is so much more that the Lord has for us. Our job is to make sure we are hungry for more and that can only come by cultivating spiritual hunger for God. Though you may not “feel” hungry for God, the very desire to be hungry for Him is proof you are hungry! Tell Him today that you want more, spend time in His Word and in prayer and you will start to experience a new level in your walk with Him!
Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart.”
So many Christians are preoccupied with fulfilling their purpose in life. Rather than looking for purpose, PURPOSE to PLEASE the Lord and delight yourself in Him and He will unveil that which He has called you to do!
Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Today, know that you are victorious in Him. This is going to be a great day. No limits and no boundaries can keep you from walking in the fullness God has for you. Step out in thanks giving – this is your day.
Numbers 23:19: "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good"
Peter did not doubt the words of Jesus when he was walking on the water, he doubted himself. Remember that a disciple is one learning & adapting to do what his mentor does. Jesus was still walking which means the mentor did not fail, he did. God will not fail you, believe in Him.
