Ephesians 1:6 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in the Beloved.”
You might have had a very challenging past and perhaps no one has ever said this to you but our eternal loving Father spoke these words specially to you to confirm His feelings about you. “You are accepted in the Beloved.”
2 Corinthians 12:7 “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.”
As we all at one time or another face this in our lives and wonder why these things or circumstances come our way, don't doubt or allow our enemy to confuse you. God who loves you, has a wonderful plan for your life and if allowed will complete that plan.
Proverbs 28:18 "Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved, but he who is perverse in his ways will suddenly fall.”
We live in a time of insecurity, many people feel they have to put bars on their windows and doors. But as believers, our security isn't in natural things. If you have been going to bed afraid at night, start trusting in the Lord for your safety and security. Keep Psalm 91 in your heart, read it morning and evening if you are plagued by fear, rebuke it in the Name of Jesus any time it speaks to you.
Proverbs 25:5 “Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness.”
When we pray for the leaders of our nation, we should pray for righteous advisers to surround them. Why is that so important? Because take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness.
Proverbs 21:1 “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
Think about the fact that God has reserved the right to override the will of a nation's leader in order for His people to be governed according to His will. If we humble ourselves in unity and prayer, God can change the injustice and corruption in our country from Parliament on down to make sure His children are governed justly.
Matthew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven , and whatever you loose on earth, will be loosed in heaven.”
God has given us power to bind the wicked spirits in heavenly places and to loose angelic powers of God to work in our behalf. It is time we began to realize how important we are to world affairs. We are the ones whose prayers can change every office of authority in this land.
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Continual renewal of your spirit comes by spending time before God in prayer. When you wait before Him, praying in the Spirit, you'll not only be refreshed and renewed in your inner man, but that spiritual renewal will also affect your mind and your physical being.
Romans 8:26 “” Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
Praying in tongues provides a way to pray for things that you are not aware of and you would never think to pray on your own. Therefore you need the Holy Spirit to help you pray out the perfect will of God concerning people and situations your natural mind knows nothing about.
1 Corinthians 14:18 “I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all.”
As Paul knew the importance of praying in tongues, he did it more than anyone in the whole Corinthian church and he was responsible for writing most of the New Testament. Its a tool God has given us to use to tap into the Mind of the Spirit. When we pray in tongues, we activate the Holy Spirit within us and He begins to teach and enlighten us. Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,”says the Lord."
When the devil attacks you in some area of your life, don't sit around crying and begging God to save you. Don't let the powerhouse of God's protection go to waste. Refuse to be afraid of his weapon, because according to His Word, it cannot prosper. It IS your rightful heritage as a servant of the Lord.
