Matthew 8:16: “When the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses”
A friend one day told me he was coming down with flu, and yes before long he had the flew. Once something has been internalized it is only a question of time before it will happen. Don’t allow things that are not Biblical, like sickness ruin what could be a healed lifestyle. Speak things that are not as though they are.
I John 4:4: "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world"
My victory might now yet been seen in the natural, but that does not mean I have failed. Like the apostle Paul said, I press forward. Remember that through today your are moving set by set closer to the final mark. Enjoy and smile as you will not fail.
John 16:33: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world"
One of my favourite speeches ever made was by Martin Luther, who said: “feelings come and feelings go, my only authority is the Word of God, nothing else is worthy believing”. So, let not feelings take the better of you today, be of good cheer, it is only feelings, God is still in control.
II Peter 1:8: "For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ"
Dr David Molapo one day said “I get all I can then I can all I get, then I sit on the can”, a very good description of bareness. I know that this is not you neither me, for we are sufficiently supplied with every good gift from above. Lets not can it, but use it for His glory.
Psalms 27:1: "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid"
This is one of those verses that put a kick or maybe a jump in my step. We serve the best God there possibly can be, in fact the only God there can be. Today would you just give Him praise, lift His name and pray that His kingdom comes into our world.
Psalms 1:1-3: "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
My success is not dependent upon my past or present experiences, but solely upon the Word of God, which I mediate upon day and night. In Him, be all you can be today.
Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
What a day to place all your challenges and burdens at the cross! Worry will not change anything. Let us, like when Joseph was sold as a slave, put his shoulders back lifted his face and looked straight ahead and know “I am created in the image of God”. I have purpose
I Peter 2:9: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
As we go through live normally view ourselves through the eyes of our parents, teachers, society that molded us, political views and our past experiences. May you however today see yourself the way God’s sees you, nothing more but also nothing less. For you are unique in Him.
II Corinthians 9:8: "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."
As kind Davis said so aptly: “this is the day that the Lord has make and we will rejoice in it” So thank you Lord that today I am all sufficient in all things, and thus enabling me to be adequately prepared to be a success.
II Corinthians 2:14: "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place."
Triumph means that we have overcome, and generally it is a glorious victory! So may we have a glorious day today as we walk in the fullness of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Act in a manner befitting your victory
