Phil 4:6-7 - “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”
Relax! In this very moment, God has the exact solution to whatever concern you have. He will work it out if you trust Him. Everything is going to be alright!
Ephesians 2:8,10 (NLT): Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
Your salvation is based purely on your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It’s not something you can "earned" by how good you try to be, it’s a free gift from God. You can’t earn it or buy it, its free you just have to receive it. Do not let anyone tell you you’re not good enough or not worthy, because God love us all the same. Receive your salvation by faith in JESUS NAME NOW!!!!
Hebrews 7: 15-16 (NLT): This change has been made very clear since a different priest, who is like Melchizedek, has appeared. Jesus became a priest, not by meeting the physical requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life that cannot be destroyed."
Jesus is perfect. The perfect sacrifice to defeat sin and death; the perfect priest to offer up to God a sacrifice to save us and the perfect advocate to speak on our behalf before the Lord. Trust in Him as your Lord and Saviour. He is God and was made flesh to show us the way, teach us the way, die for the way and to open up the way for us.
Leviticus 27:30 (NLT): “One-tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy.
How can we rob God? In Mal 3:8-10 gives a clear explanation on how. God wants to bless us but we stand in the way of that so many times because we dishonour Him by keep from him what is Holy. Stand today and make a commitment to be a tither to your spiritual home and a giver in the body of Christ. Then the devourer will be blocked and the windows of heaven will be open to you for God’s blessing over your life.
Matthew 2:10-11 “When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy.11 And on going into the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then opening their treasure bags, they presented to Him gifts—gold and frankincense and myrrh.”
Are you missing ecstatic Joy in your life? Sometimes we have a tendency to focus on all the “negatives” in our life but we have so much to be thankful for. The most important thing we have to be thankful for is the fact that we also found our Saviour! This in itself is enough to be thrilled with ecstatic joy. When you find your saviour you cannot help yourself but to thank him, worship Him, and bring Him your treasure. Think about what Jesus has done for you today and be thrilled with ecstatic joy.
Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
God knows your end from your beginning. Sometimes we go through life with our head down because we believe we disappointed God. God is not disappointed in you! You see he knows all your short comings, your weaknesses, and your mistakes. We are not perfect and He knows it. He believes in us more than what we believe in ourselves. He sees us as the finished work not as the process and He knows that He can change us if we allow Him and we stay close to Him.
Numbers 12:7-8 "But not with my servant Moses. Of all my house, he is the one I trust.I speak to him face to face, clearly, and not in riddles! He sees the Lord as he is……."
What an awesome relationship Moses had with our Lord… God spoke to him face to face! Can you imagine this kind of interaction! Face to face with the creator of heaven and earth….. I believe we also can have this kind of relationship with Him. As you embark in a relentless pursuit of God, He will not be able to resist your passion for Him. More and more He will reveal His heart, His desire, His love, His passion, His ways…HIMSELF. He is waiting on you today!
Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].."
From the beginning God had a purpose for His children. The Word says "created in Christ Jesus" which is referring to a person that has received the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Now let's think about the good works that God has predestined for us. That word “good” from the Greek is “Agatho” which means of good constitution or nature, useful, pleasant, agreeable, joyful, excellent, distinguished, upright and honourable. I’d like to think of these good works that God prepared for me beforehand
Deuteronomy 7:6 "For you are a holy people, who belong to the LORD your God. Of all the people on earth, the LORD your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure."
Do you realize how special you are? You are His holy people, His special treasure! How awesome is that? Of all the people in the world, God chose YOU! From the foundation of the earth you were on His mind. He designed you just the way you are with a specific purpose. You are an original. There is only one YOU! Don’t you forget that!
1Peter 3:9 "Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it."
When you are in the middle of being falsely accused, when someone has deeply hurt you or let you down, the easier it is to retaliate than to do what Jesus did. The Word says to bless them. Pay them back with a blessing! Yes, it sounds unfare, but always remember how Jesus forgave you when you didn’t deserve it. If we take the “high road” by blessing others when they don’t deserve it, we will walk free from the bondage of offence.
